Empowerment photographer, multi-talented artist, caregiver of humans and animals alike, security guard and hospitality professional. I'm a fat, polyamorous, queer Vermonter who loves to be in nature and meeting/spending time with wonderful people. I have an infectious laugh, a bubbly personality and strive to make a positive impact on those around me and my community.
I am on a self-love journey and love supporting other's journeys! I find that no matter the focus of a session with me, self-love and empowerment always play a role. My goal as a photographer is to empower people to find new and different ways to view, not only themselves, but the world around us. I believe that by creating and showcasing art with under-represented folks we not only change the way we as individuals think, but we can influence the status quo.
I became known as Cami the Camera because I am more often seen behind a camera than not! Growing up I was seen snapping away at anything and everything that caught my eye. As I got older and had many of my core support system pass away, I realized just how treasured those photographs I had taken of my loved ones became. Photographing core memories, milestones and love quickly became the focus of my work.
I get invigorated hearing new and different ideas for sessions and love working with a wide variety of clients. Let's talk about your vision for your session and how we can work together to create some magic and preserve memories!
